Brady Werkheiser leads growth at Helius, a Solana developer platform. His focus is on Search Engine Optimization (SEO), content marketing, and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO). Brady is based in San Francisco, California, and outside of work he consults web3 startups on growth marketing.
Brady was born near Philadelphia, PA, and grew up in Doylestown. Brady graduated from Pennridge High School in 2009, and graduated cum laude from Saint Joseph's University in 2013 with a B.S. in Chemistry. After University, Brady worked for a number of small tech agencies where he focused on IT, business continuity, web development, and mobile app development.Â
To transition from Information Technology to marketing, Brady taught himself SEO, signed freelance SEO consulting clients, and in 2017 converted an SEO contracting job into a full-time marketing role with UNINCORPORATED (UN), a higher education branding agency based in Los Angeles, CA.
At UN, Brady supported multiple schools at USC with end-to-end marketing services including the Thornton School of Music, Executive Masters of Leadership, and Ostrow School of Dentistry. Brady also supported brands in health, travel, and PR including Providence Health, Snohomish County, WA, and Nyhus.
In March 2021, Brady joined Webstacks, a headless CMS development agency in San Diego, as their first SEO hire. At Webstacks, Brady was the SEO lead for web3 companies Circle and Blocknative, and he worked with engineers to optimize websites for performance, core web vitals, and conversions.
In November of 2021 Brady started contracting with Alchemy, a multichain development platform. After 6 months of SEO freelancing, Brady was hired as employee number 69, and joined the growth team. During his 2.5 years at Alchemy he published 300+ blogs, 5,000+ programmatic SEO pages and generated 100s of millions of organic impressions and millions of clicks.
In October of 2024, Brady joined Helius, a Series B Solana startup. Since joining the team, he migrated Helius' website to a headless CMS, launched the Helius Startup Launchpad, organized the [REDACTED] Hackathon, and helped published dozens of long-form research articles on the Helius blog.
